Team Orecchia

Every once in a while you meet an amazing family that will do anything for anyone.  This is the Orecchia family.  They have been a loving, supporting part of Searles Elementary for many years and still have three boys attending school there (5th grade, 4th grade, 3rd grade).

If you've met any of them, you know they are the first ones to volunteer for anything. They are the first to donate to each classroom. And they are the first ones with a warm hug and a smile to help you get through your tough day.  So now it's our turn to help.

The oldest boy was diagnosed with cancer when he was in kindergarten. His leg was amputated and has since used what the family calls his "robot" leg.  Now as a 5th grader, he is back in the hospital battling cancer again.  He is still undergoing testing, but it is clear there is a tough road ahead.

Please give what you can to support this incredible family.  And spread the word so they can feel just how much our community, our family, loves them.
