Team Rachael Neal - Help Cover Medical Expenses

Our dear daughter/sister/friend, Rachael Neal, has been bravely battling colon cancer that has metastasized to her liver. Recently, she faced a medical emergency due to a blockage, which resulted in the removal of 12 inches of her colon and the placement of a colostomy. This procedure was necessary to alleviate the blockage and ensure her well-being.

Now, Rachael is embarking on a 3-6 week recovery period, during which she hopes to resume chemotherapy in just 3 weeks to combat the cancer in her liver. Throughout this challenging journey, she has been deeply touched and humbled by the overwhelming outpouring of love and support from friends and family, who have showered her with gifts and kind gestures.

However, along with her diagnosis comes a multitude of financial burdens. Medical bills, co-pays, travel expenses, prescriptions, and the cost of ongoing chemotherapy treatments and surgeries. As information, Rachael's health insurance has a calendar year deductible for covered medical expenses. This amount will need to be met again beginning January 1, 2024. Recognizing the generosity of those around her, Rachael's loved ones have decided to start a GoFundMe campaign to help alleviate the financial strain and ensure she can focus on her recovery. Undoubtedly, Rachael's path to healing will be a long and arduous one. Yet, she remains steadfast in her faith and places her full trust in God.
