Help Mike Williams with Amputation Recovery

Donation protected
On Monday, July 24, our dad went to urgent care for a sore on his ankle. After being sent to the ER and a full day of tests, scans, and waiting he was told that he would have to have his foot amputated below the knee. In May of 2022 he broke his foot which never healed and caused some pretty serious issues! While an amputation is a very large pill to swallow, and this journey may be difficult, he will come out on the other end better than he has been in over a year! In the meantime, this means that Mike is out of work for the foreseeable future until he heals, gets his prosthetic, and becomes proficient in the use of his new leg! With hospital bills, and everyday life bills accruing, the stress can quickly build and hinder recovery. Sue is still working and doing great! We are hoping to ease some of this burden so that Mike and Sue can focus on recovery and a fresh start without the overwhelming financial strain that comes with a sudden unexpected loss of income and hospital bills! Every time someone reaches out and asks if there is anything they can do, we are at a loss for words with how kind and supportive of a community that our parents have built around them! We can’t thank everyone enough for rallying behind them! We love you all!
