Team Rocky - #RockyCares

Rocky Elardo passed away in February 2024 after a courageous five-year battle with Ewing sarcoma, a rare and aggressive bone cancer. Rocky was a bright, beautiful, and brave young woman who touched the lives of many with her smile, her laughter, and her kindness. She was a loving daughter, sister, friend, student, and athlete who never gave up on her dreams and always inspired others to do the same.

We are so grateful for your generous and compassionate support over the last five years. You have been a source of strength and comfort for Rocky and her family during the most difficult times. You have helped us raise funds for Rocky's medical expenses, travel costs, and quality of life. You have also sent us countless messages, cards, gifts, and prayers that lifted our spirits and made us feel loved. You have been a part of Rocky's journey and we will always remember your kindness.

As we mourn the loss of Rocky, we also want to honor her life and legacy. That is why we have decided to create a non-profit charity organization in her memory, called Rocky Cares.

Rocky Cares aims to:
Raise awareness and funding to support Ewing sarcoma research for a cure.

Provide an annual scholarship to senior(s) at Heritage High School that embody Rocky's qualities of intelligence, athleticism, and kindness.

Spread Rocky's sunshine throughout the community by supporting causes and initiatives that Rocky cared about.
