Team Tony & Deborah~Liver Transplant Journey
Donation protected
Getting a Liver Donor Match for Tony and surviving the surgery was a miracle but just the first step in a many-step journey.
Help them focus on healing by reducing their financial stress by donating what you can to defray their 1st year liver transplant costs.
Tony & Deborah are renting an apartment for two months post surgery in Durham, North Carolina (4 hours from home) to be next to Duke Medical Center where Tony has daily blood draws, medicine adjustments and exams. But the journey won’t end there, they have to travel once a month back to Duke for an entire year for check ups and tests.
He’s doing great following every single directive by his medical team with Deborah by his side.
Here’s some of what they must do to ensure this transplant is a success and prevent liver rejection:
They realize what a life giving gift they received and following every instruction!
Help them only have to focus on the health of Tony’s new liver journey and reduce their stress in how they try to cover expenses.
Expense summary:
Tony & Deborah appreciate their community, family, and friends and any amount you can contribute helps! It all makes a difference.
Note - GoFundMe’s default when you go to donate adds a tip to GoFundMe - you can set that to zero. Be sure you read through the form.
Thank you all.

- Blood work at least once a week.
- Sees doctor and home health care nurse at least once a week.
