TEAM ZACK

Hi my name is Holly Dawson and my husband Leo Dawson. Our beloved 21 Year old Zackery was critically injured on August 13, 2022 by a drunk driver, he remains in a coma. Please help us in any way you can, especially in prayer. Thank you from our deepest hearts and souls.

As an update for everyone. Zack was transferred to a special hospital in Erie PA. on 10/27. Here is still here. They are working on capping off Zack's trachea so he breathes completely without it, and it can hopefully be removed within a month or so. Zack still has not spoken. He seems to be trying to. Zack still does not have use of his body. His father and I see small improvements with movements of his right fingers, resistence in his left arm and he seems to be trying to move his feet slightly. He hears us. He knows we are there. He seems at times to be very conscious of his situation, which seems to create anxiety in him. Who would not be anxious knowing what their situation was like?

We are applying to rehab facilities around the country. There will be no neurological rehab near our home. We hope for acceptance at a good one. Pray for Zack.
