Get Team 1665 To St. Louis

Team 1665 Weapons of Mass Construction is a robot team out of Hudson NY, we are a team of 12 students, 2 technology teachers(Jack Beyer&Bruce Buhler), 3 chaperones/mentors and one programmer from RPI. We competed at RPI on March 17th-March 19th 2016, we got there on Thursday and were practicing when all of a sudden our robot dropped and had some damage. We were non-functional for our first couple of matches. After long hard work we were finally able to get our robot to somewhat function to be able to participate in the qualifying matches. We started out of 36 teams at spot 30 by the time we finished the qualifying matches we were in slot 18. Although we didn't get picked to make it to the finals. We were the the next robot in line incase one broke. Well team 1665 was blessed and unfortunately for the other team their robot broke. We then were given the chance to jump in and make it into the finals. We finished 2nd in the whole regional. But the reason we are asking for donations is because we were then awarded with a wild card award which means that we have been selected to move on to the championship in St. Louis Missouri April 27-April 30. It's very expensive and we need all the community support to get our team there. The money will help pay for transportation, hotel fees, entry fees to the competition and freight shipping to get our robot to St.Louis.
