On behalf of Angie Collect we are accepting donations towards medical insurance out of pocket and living expenses.
Our lives flipped upside down since October Friday 13th. Angie went to the doctor for a spot on her leg and some bruising that would not go away. Friday evening Angie received a call that her platelets were 14 and she needed to go the emergency room for platelets. After bone marrow biopsy she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Chemotherapy started Tuesday October 24th, it is 3 or so week process all together with main treatment first followed by recouping phase. She has undergone 2 bone marrow biopsies, picc line placement, bronchoscopy, and multiple CT scans. Multiple blood products have been given; 9 units of plasma, 9 units of platelets, and 7 units of blood. Angie will undergo a bone marrow transplant upon completion chemotherapy.
Thank you to everyone for the prayers and love, we are so thankful for our village behind us through this!
