Dorace's Recovery Fund

It is with a heavy heart we send this out to the world. Our beloved, bright, compassionate, and beautiful friend Dorace has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. She recently had a painful lump biopsied. What she thought was a fibroid turned out to be a tumor the size of a softball. The doctors confirmed she had breast cancer and will need a mastectomy. They also assured her the surgery will be effective and prognosis for removing the cancer is good. The road to recovery over the next few months will be hard. Since Dorace’s work requires the use of her upper body, it could be three months or more before she can return to a full-time schedule. All the funds raised go directly to Dorace to cover the following: —Any out-of-pocket medical treatments, medications, and therapies. —Pay for rent, utilities, and her cell phone service, which is her work lifeline. —Food and any other needed health supplies. Dorace has an innate gift as a healer. She has made getting people out of pain her life’s work. It is now our turn to give back and help her get back on her feet while she recovers. Please take a moment to give. Every gesture will make a great impact. Dorace, our friend, daughter, sister, mother, and gifted healer, will also be celebrating her birthday on November 14th.
