Hi, my name is Janet Ahr. I've been with my company for 28 years, and it's indeed become a family. This will be my fourth GoFundMe fundraiser to help a friend and colleague in need. Gary Willis has worked in the construction field for 40 years, and 19 years with the company I currently work for.

He loved the construction industry because of the team and his personality allowed him to work with just about everyone. Gary's colleagues say he is one of the most positive-thinking individuals they have ever worked with and always found good in any situation. He had the unique ability to interact with the owner representative, which always made the project go better. Gary's talents and work ethic were always in demand. His absence has been missed.

Gary was diagnosed with lung cancer in April of this year. He lost his brother a few years ago to cancer, who also worked for the same company. Gary has been married to his wife Joyce for 35 years and has two daughters, Julie Willis and Starla Latko. He enjoys riding his Harley, fishing and watching Florida Gators football.

We hope and pray that his story inspires others to keep fighting their battles, regardless of what they may encompass. All donations will help Gary and his family with any incurred expenses. Any support and all prayers are encouraged and appreciated.
