Heidi Cassidy Medical Expenses

Donation protected
On November 12, 2023, Heidi was admitted to Wolfson Children's Hospital after discovering a 3cm brain tumor. The tumor was affecting her leg mobility and movement of her right arm. Just three days later, on November 15, 2023, Heidi underwent brain surgery to remove the tumor. The surgery lasted roughly seven hours and sweet little Heidi was an absolute champion the entire time. Her doctors and surgical team stated that it went as perfectly as possible -- they were able to remove nearly all of the tumor! However, due to the nature of the tumor, the team at Wolfson recommend several rounds of chemotherapy and possible radiation over the next 6-8 months.

These chemotherapy treatments will be inpatient, requiring Heidi to stay at the hospital for weeks at a time. Please consider helping the family pay for their medical bills by contributing to their gofundme account. This allows the family to focus on Heidi, her treatment, and her recovery and not stress about the medical bills that are being incurred as she recieves treatment.

Updates on Heidi's story will be shared on https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/heidicassidy
