As most of you know, our Kelsey went through a traumatic event on wednesday January 31. We posted it on Facebook, with Kelsey’s blessing, for many reasons that we cannot discuss as the case is ongoing. Most who have found out about what happened to Kelsey wanted to help Kelsey begin to heal and make this transformation easier. The outpouring of love has been felt and we cannot thank you enough. Kelsey has read through some of your loving messages and knows she’s not in this alone. As people started reading her story, we had many offering to gift Kelsey extensions, hair appointments, wigs, and legal fees, and whatever she needs which are desperately needed. As most of you know, I (Kelly Jonhson from Bradner Ohio, aunt to Kelsey and sister to Christin Johnson)have created 3 accounts, only to be reported and shut down with refunding those who gave. After GoFundMe investigated, they opened the 3rd one back up. Obviously not a scam since GoFundMe reopened it ....here is what’s happened. Although things are the same, a few things have changed. Kelsey was removed from her father’s home and is surrounded by her mom, gramma, aunt, siblings also cousins and friends. Kelsey has added needs since she left most of her clothes and things behind. Right now these are immediate things and issue: Funds for gas getting to and from school that is 30-40 minutes away twice a day and hopefully temporary, clothes/shoes (since she only packed a few as she had no idea what was about to happen) and uniform's hopefully she is to be put back in the school district her mother lives in. Along with another wig (back up), the withdrawal plan is it will go directly to the goal setters savings account in Kelseys mothers name specifically for Kelsey only.
