This campaign was created in March 2018. It was created to help my brother and sister in law get my then 4 month old niece, Lucille, to the Children's Hospital in Little Rock Arkansas. We achieved that goal and she received the help she needed, plus some! 
 We received news a week into their stay there that Lucille was showing signs and symptoms of a Leukodystrophy Disorder and that they needed to do some genetic testing along with brain scans.
 Our worst fear became a reality when we received the news that she has Krabbe disorder. Absolutely devastating as it is a fatal disorder. 
 Krabbe Disorder (KD) (also known as globoid cell leukodystrophy or galactosylceramide lipidosis) is a rare and often fatal lysosomal storage disease which results in progressive damage to the nervous system. Which means the white matter of the brain disintegrates, she will start to regress at a rapid rate, and lose all functions of the body, and she will pass away from it. 
 We are upping the amount to be raised to help pay for all expenses, (bills, medical bills/stays, transportation, food, and funeral expenses) as my brother will not be able to work, and they will be spending all of their time taking care of sweet Lucille.
  We are absolutely astonished by the outpour of support, prayers and help that has been coming forth since my Brother and Sister in law have made the announcement public!
 Keep those prayers coming as this will not be an easy road for us all, especially my brother and sister in law!
