Anyone who knows Matthew Campione knows what brightness he brings into the lives of those around him. Having him in your life is a pure blessing in itself. From his involvement in the local music scene and in his community, Matt has made a huge impact on so many people. He has always given back to everyone around him, been a helping hand to anyone in need, an all around amazing person who will put everyone else first; but most importantly, whenever he laughs it has the power to make anyone smile. Honestly, if you havent met Matt Campione you probably have heard about him and can tell he has made a huge impact on all those around him. He is just someone you would be lucky to have as a friend. Matt has had to put his life on hold various times within the past two years from being forced to drop out of college, to leaving his job, and putting his band, Your Persona on multiple hiatuses.

From a very young age, Matt has been struggling with his health: first being diagnosed with Crohn's disease and now with his continuous fight against cancer. On Valentine's day of 2014 Matt was diagnosed with testicular cancer and shortly after, had surgery to remove the tumor. Within two months, he started his first rounds of chemotherapy. Then on July 7th 2014, Matt had his next surgery, which was a retroperitoneal lymphnode dissection. Soon after, Matt found out he had two additional tumors in his pelvis, and had to start two more rounds of chemotherapy. Matt received news at that time that he was cancer-free.

Unfortunately, in June of 2015, Matt's scans came back with definite results for recurrence with more tumors in the abdomen. In August, 2015, he went in for his next surgery to remove the tumors and affected lymph nodes. Matt was told again in October 2015 that he was cancer-free. But most recently, on November 4th, his doctors found that there is a more aggressive recurrence; this time with a tumor behind his bladder, a tumor in his left pelvis, five tumors on his liver, and one on his right lung.

Doctors plan to start a more aggressive chemotherapy treatment on November 10th with the possibility of a stem cell transplant and chemotherapy with other intensive treatment options.

Let's help show Matt that he is not alone in his battle with cancer, and that everyone is by his side and will never leave him. All the money being raised will be going towards his immense medical expenses to help his family in this urgent time. "They all say be strong and I'll be there".

We love you all for your continued love and support; you have all helped him tremendously in his battle.
