Rob Westhoff, longtime resident of Parsons, KS, devoted Husband, Dad, Grandpa, friend of all who knows him, has been diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer. His cancer is metastatic, and has moved into other parts of his body. The family has recently been given the option to begin treatment in the form of immunotherapy. This therapy is known to travel through the blood and treat affected areas with success. We’ve been told radiation and chemotherapy are not options. This therapy has given us great hope. In the meantime, Rob does not have mobility on his own. He is continually working to regain his ability to walk and attending physical therapy. Updates to the home are being made to help make things accessible for Robbie and medical supplies are needed for his treatment and recovery. Immediately following his cancer diagnosis, he had his spine operated on to remove a portion of the cancer for the biopsy to determine origin and next steps. Currently he continues to recover from that surgery.
If you would like to help Robbie and Martha navigate this process, we know they would be so humbled and touched. They are devoted to each other and in this fight together. They are placing their faith in the power of prayer.
As many people have reached out to our family to find out ways to help, we’ve been encouraged to start this page. Robbie and Martha have never been ones to ask for help, but as their children, we’ve decided this to be the easiest way to provide them with some financial relief.
Our family is beyond grateful for your support.
