Max Boatwright was born with a genetic disease NF1 that causes tumors to grow on his nerve endings. On December 23, 2015 Max was diagnosed with an optic nerve glioma, a type of brain tumor that puts pressure on his optic nerve causing severe vision loss. He went through 18 months of weekly chemo treatments at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston. March 6, 2017 Max was diagnosed with AML Leukemia. He has been through 3 month long rounds of chemo. Now he is getting a life saving bone marrow transplant. So far he is doing very well but has a very long road ahead. All the proceeds will cover Max's hospital bills as well as other expenses related to his treatment. Any additional funds will be donated to The Children's Tumor Foundation. Thank you so much for all the prayers and support!
