Te-Andre Brown Memorial Fund

Donation protected

Te-Andre Anthony Brown, 21, was a senior business administration and an Army ROTC student. He was a brave and selfless young man who would do anything to make sure that the well being of others was put before his own. On Sunday, March 15th, Brown and a few of his friends and peers went to Panama city to kick off what would be their last spring break before graduating. Te-Andre was reputed by several witnesses to have been caring for the other passengers on the boat, ensuring that everyone had a fun, safe time. Their day seemed like a success, until the fun outing took a change for the worse. A passenger who jumped from the boat unexpectedly found herself in rough waters. Te-Andre quickly noticed that the young woman was in distress and he, along with 3 of his fraternity brothers, jumped in to rescue her. Te-Andre was the one who first made contact with the young lady and passed her to his brothers so that they could get her back on the boat.Te-Andre took every action to ensure that all passengers returned safely to the boat before him. Even though Brown was a good swimmer, he was overcome by the heavy tides.

A final service to a true servant. As we do our best to honor Te-Andre’s heroic sacrifice one last time, we are asking for your help financially. Any and all donations to help cover funeral arrangements are welcomed, and appreciated more than you will ever know.
