Disabled family in need and facing crisis

Hi, my name is Tiffany and I'm asking for support for my family. To say we have a unique situation would be an understatement.

Currently, I have applied for disability and still waiting for an answer (could take another 1-3 years). My husband, Matthew, is on disability and they're currently trying to take him off of it and we'll have to speak to a hearings officer in a few months to fight for him to keep it. My son, Jadon, who's been on disability his whole life has been taken off of disability and we're fighting to get him back on. At this moment we temporarily have my husband's disability income only.

We do not have enough to sustain living in our home and are on the brink of being homeless. We were able to get financial help for our past due rent and power but now we're at a point where current bills are due and we're unable to pay. We have reached out to the salvation army to help find us affordable living but it could take some months before we could have that. We're also doing our best to take care of our nephew who has been living with us for 5 months.

I also just received news this week that I will need more surgery, physical therapy and gait retraining. My family's life changed with my injury as I was on the right track with my career when this happened. I can't help but feel that I let my family down even though they have been fully supportive.

I know this is bad timing with the holidays but any donation would be greatly appreciated. All donations would keep us from being homeless till we can get into affordable living. Thank you and God bless.
