Tech Sgt. Zachary E. Lavoy Osprey Flight Crew

My name is Cassandara and I am raising funds for my fellow nurse practitioner friend Gabriela Lavoy.

Gabby received the knock on her door November 29, 2023, that no parent ever wants to receive. Her son, Zachary, was missing on the Osprey that went down near Japan that day.

Tech. Sgt. Zachary E. Lavoy, 33, of Oviedo, Fla., was a United States Airforce medical operations flight chief assigned to the 1st Special Operations Squadron, 353rd Special Operations Wing, Kadena Air Base, Japan. 

Gabby asks you to pray for her son Zachary.

He was a light to all who knew him. He had a deep faith in God. He sent devotionals to her she talked about life with him.

Hug your children and grandchildren, life is so precious.

Gabby works as an emergency room nurse practitioner.

Zachary was a medical operations flight chief following his mom‘s footsteps. Gabby relocated to a Texas ER less than three months ago and has no paid time off.

Zachary was engaged to Alee (an ICU nurse), who has been able to spend time supporting each other during this tragic time.
