Techmobile and Bookmobile for Eagle Scout Project

Hello, my name is Logan Tibbetts. I am a scout from Troop 13 in New Bern North Carolina, and I am raising money for my Eagle Scout project. A Techmobile is a mobile computer lab to be used in locations with a lack of internet, and a lack of transportation to the nearest library. A bookmobile may be added on if able to.  This project is for the Craven-Pamlico Regional Library (https://cpcrl.org/), and will be maintained by them. The van is a Ford Transit 150 that is being used as a courier van. 

My part of the project is to equip the van that the region has with the proper equipment for a techmobile/bookmobile. As of right now, I am trying to raise funds for these materials. I want to get this project done by the end of the school year so the region can test it during the summer. 

If there is any extra money, it will go towards the van for fuel and repairs. There is going to be a cushion if something is broken, or if there are mishaps during the project. 

Techmobile:
Four 29.6in x 72in Folding Tables
Ten Steel Folding Chairs
Tie-Down Straps
WiFi Range Extender/Hotspot
3 Dell Laptops (Provided by Beneficiary)
3 Dell Laptops (Provided by Me)
Storage racks and equipment for materials (laptop holder, chair holder, table holder)

Bookmobile:
Lift
2 Awnings
4 Book Carts (depending on room in the van)
Battery/Inverter System

Workdays:
Food and Drink
Trash Bags
Protective Equipment (eyewear, gloves)


The Techmobile/Bookmobile Project now has adequate funds to complete the project! I was able to raise more than expected, thus being able to add more equipment to the van. Thank you for your support towards the project.
