Techos Pa' Mi Gente (Roofs for my People)

Techos Pa’ Mi Gente (Roofs for my People) is a nonprofit organization based in Puerto Rico. This organization is helping people in Puerto Rico by rebuilding their roofs that were destroyed as a result of Hurricane Maria and the more recent hurricanes. The organization mainly relies on donations to pay for materials that are used to rebuild the roofs, to train volunteer workers, and to help communities become self-sufficient. They also accept volunteers to help aid in the construction of the roofs. We would like to make a donation to this organization as our service project for the 2019-2020 school year. Our goal is to donate enough money to the organization to pay for one roof ($7000).
