Ted & Becky Buckner

I'm Ted's wife, Rebecca. Since 2017, Ted has experienced many complications of diabetes and cancer. He is currently dealing with diabetic ulcers on his right foot which have been there for over a year. In 2019, he lost a kidney to cancer and has regular follow ups with his urologist. The most recent CT scan revealed some abnormalities which sent him to an oncologist. A PET scan is sending him for a colonoscopy after he gets clearance from the cardiologist for anesthesia. Further testing will be done in 6 months for the original issue which sent him to the oncologist. I'm being vague about that because we don't have a diagnosis yet. Suffice to say it is concerning.

On top of all this, his vision has been deteriorating. He has had multiple surgeries and treatments for cataracts and retinopathy. One of his more recent hospital stays made it much worse when they gave him blood thinners which caused a bleed in the retina.

If you know Ted, you know he works in IT and has continued to do so but it is becoming increasingly difficult for him to see the screen and work with the hardware. He also is spending a large amount of time with doctors and health care professsionals. Between his vision and the wound on his foot, he no longer drives which means I take him to appointments and to the few customers he still sees.

In short, we are asking for help with expenses and bills during this difficult time.
