Ted Raether Memorial Fund

I am writing this on behalf of my sister, Joy Raether.  No one ever expects to lose their spouse suddenly, but it happens.  My sister lost her husband Ted this past Monday to Covid-19, he was only 57. They just celebrated their 30th anniversary last month, now suddenly, he is no longer there. Joy is in dire financial straits.  Ted didn't have any medical insurance or life insurance.  Ted spent November 14th until November 30th in the Intensive Care Unit of a local hospital.  No one, especially my sister, thought it would end with his death.  Now she has to figure out how to pay for the bills they incurred
together, and more importantly, how to cover his final expenses! And this is not the first loss Joy has suffered to Covid-19!
Joy has shed so many tears.  She doesn't want anyone else to suffer the way Ted did.  And she certainly doesn't want anyone else to share her pain.
Her deepest wish is that everyone will please take this dreadful disease seriously.  Please, wear a mask, and practice social distancing.  Better yet, stay home and stay safe.  Joy and Ted did everything they could to protect themselves, and they both ended up with Covid-19.  Unfortunately, Ted was
unable to recover. Any donation you can make to help Joy would be deeply appreciated.  Joy will be in charge of the funds, as she is the one who is
responsible for the final bills.
