Help Ted Wiseman Pay Expenses While Hospitalized

I'm trying to raise money to help Ted Wiseman (aka Big Tree) pay his bills while he is under hospital care. He has been extremely ill for the past few weeks; we have been in and out of doctors' offices trying to diagnose the reason why. Finally, after several CAT scans, tests, and biopsies, they found a blood clot had formed and blocked the main artery supporting one of his vital organs, causing it to completely shut down. The blockage was considerable enough to cause the blood vessel to twist around his organ, causing him extreme pain. After many days of agony, he relented and agreed to be taken to the emergency room where he was IMMEDIATELY fast-tracked through the ER and subsequently admitted. He nearly lost his life and he still has a rough road ahead of him medically. He will need all his strength to get better, mentally and physically. Now that we finally have a diagnosis and treatment has begun, he will recover quickly, I have no doubts. Until then, he needs help from his friends and loved ones. He is too proud to ask for the help, but I am not. If he had his way, he would walk out and go to work right now, sick or not. Asking for help or financial assistance isn't something he would ever do, but these are desperate times and they call for different measures. I would do anything to give him the peace of mind he deserves to have after nearly losing his life. Any money donated would go directly to getting and keeping his rent and bills paid while he is being treated in the hospital. Even a phone call, if you can't donate, would go a long way to helping him recover enough to be released. He is currently under care at Cape Fear Valley Memorial in Fayetteville until he is well enough to go home; I would like to make sure he still has one when that happens.
