Teddy Bears medical costs

Hiya,
Anyone who knows me will know that my bunnies are a very big part of my life.
Teddy bear came into my life unexpectedly during covid when I was able to rescue him from a bad living situation. I won’t
go into the gory details but long story short, he didn’t have a name, his water bottle was broken for who knows how long, he had never been to a vet, never had a nail trim, was mainly fed goldfish crackers, and was kept in a cold dark basement in a cage.
My goal was to give this boy a life of happiness. Something he hadn’t experienced. The rehabilitation process took a long time. For the first month he wouldn’t let anyone touch him. For the first 2 years he wouldn’t let anyone but me touch him. Now at 4 years rehabilitated, he is a friendly, easy going bun. He still has some lasting trauma especially around loud noises but for the most part, he is happy and healthy.
That was until yesterday. I noticed that he had stopped eating and drinking water. He also wasn’t playing with his toys which is very unlike him.
I called a few emergency vets around 8pm and the VCA emergency clinic in Newmarket urged me to bring him in immediately as more than 8 hours without food or water for a bunny can be fatal. We brought him in and got him checked out by the lovely staff.
They said that there are many indicators of what can be wrong with a bun in these situations. The biggest tell for him was his blood glucose. The normal level is between 8-9. A dangerous and potentially high reading is 24. Teddy bears was at 33. They immediately administered medicine and began to take care of him.
After overnight monitoring and stabilization by the ICU team, they were able to transport him to the Zoo emergency vet. I want to do right by my boy, but the cost is higher than any major purchase I have ever made.
At this point he needs hospitalization for 4-5 days at least. Medications. Tests. And this is just the diagnostic part.
I need help.
If you have bee seen a picture of my bunnies or heard a story about them that made you smile, I ask for a donation if it is within your means.
I just want to give Teddy bear the happy life he deserves
