Teodulo Rosales, often referred to as Teddy, had always presented himself to us as a sweet man. Although he preferred to keep to himself, you could easily spot him in the room through his comforting laugh and warm smile.
Teddy Rosales passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, with his last moment being surrounded by the presence and prayers of those who love him so deeply. He is the 5th son of Domingo and Eleuteria Rosales, and has 8 siblings: (late) Antonio, (late) Ben, Reynaldo, Joselito, Ruben, Yolanda, Luzviminda, and Efren. He is the love and husband of Irene Rosales. Together they created a beautiful family and had 2 kids: Lenny and Sonny Boy. Love expanded the family to create 4 loving grandchildren: Khristoffer Jesse, Josh Val Emmanuel, Althea Cerene, and Alyssa Marie.
Teddy Rosales was a hard working man. His spirit worked hard to be able to provide for his family back home in the Philippines while sustaining a life for himself and his wife in Toronto, Canada. Despite whatever pain or hardship he had been battling on his own without much people knowing, he worked as hard as he could for the ones he loved. This was the calling of this life story.
In such a short amount of time, our family became quickly distressed about how immediate his bodily sicknesses took over all of his major organs. As soon as we found out and began to prepare for the sequence of surgeries that had to be done, another sickness was discovered. In a moment’s notice, Teddy was suffering and attempting to overcome an aggressive form of colon cancer, which quickly became metastic cancer that spread to his liver and lungs, and carcinoma cancer. Everything seemed to go downhill very quickly.
We have personally witnessed the utmost love, patience, care, and sacrifice his family has gone through in order to make him feel as comfortable and whole during what feels like a defeating time. In the end, God had a plan set up, and welcomed Teddy into the Universe’s heavenly embrace. Free from pain and earthly desires, one day with the ability to reconnect with his loved ones again in another lifetime.
So here we ask as a collective, to be able to help the family of Teddy Rosales with the expenses of this instantaneous heartbreak. Anything helps, to be able to provide a beautiful service that this wonderful man deserves.
Your donations are matched with true gratefulness from our hearts. To be able to help remove some stress from the chaos of planning a funeral, to then focus on feeling, healing, and remembering a beautiful person.
