Ted&friends shave for Down Syndrome

Hi everyone

My name is Maria and I'm setting up this go fund me on behalf of my buddy Josie Scott aka TED. Ted is going shaving her head on October 25th to raise vital funds for the house in Swinford that was donated to the Down Syndrome community. It's currently being renovated. The money raised will be put towards the playground being built on site a for all the children of mayo who are born with Down Syndrome, including my own little boy Dara.

The reason we choose the playground is because it's a place of fun and joy and anyone that knows our Ted will know fun is her middle name.

Ted is facing her own battle this winter and we are all behind her every step of the way. And for her to do this for a charity close to my heart shows how completely selfless she is as a person. Thinking of others in her own time of need.

On the night Ted will be joined by friends and family who are also going for the chop in support.

We will be forever grateful to ye for these funds.
