Tee Ball Field Fence Depost Lost

Mechanicville-Stillwater Little League has been a staple in the community for decades. The goal of the league is to bring a smile to your child's face while learning and loving the game of baseball. In the 2023 season we had record numbers in our tee ball division and we are beyond excited for what the future holds! With the record number of players it was decided in a multi-staged development plan to take down the old, unsafe batting cages, put 4 new cages around the park and build a dedicated Tee ball field for our youngest athletes to enjoy. A field to call their own. Through hardworking and dedication the old cages came down, the new ones went up, the ground was prepared, sod was laid and bases were installed. The last bit to complete this project was to fence it in. We met with a fencing company, settled on a price and paid the down-payment of $5700 in November of 2023. This left the league funds low but we knew it had to be done in order to keep everyone safe and make it a field the Tee Ballers could be proud of and excited to run out on to. Sadly, in January of 2024 the fence company filed for bankruptcy, took our deposit and ran. It is reported that this company did this to several other organizations and good people as well. We are asking for any help you can just to recoup our deposit to make a safe and exciting place for the children within our community. We will end this campaign once we recoup our deposit, as we do not want to burden the community more than needed. Thank you all for you consideration.
