Support teen with autism take his 1st step into motor racing
Donation protected
Hi I'm Travis' mum, and I'm hoping to raise funds to help him fulfil his dream of becoming a racing driver. Travis was diagnosed with autism at the age of 4 and had a number of challenges associated with his diagnosis including significant speech & language delay. We were fortunate that in time Travis' language skills did develop but he will always face challenges with communication. Travis has had an interest in motor racing from a very young age. He started sim racing at 12, joined a couple of esports teams and hoped to be able to transition into real life racing. In January this year Travis won the Irish Championship Circuit Racing (ICCR) Junior Mini Challenge Scholarship at Mondello Park, Co.Kildare. As part of his prize he gets to compete in the 2025 Junior Mini Challenge championship driving the 2-time championship winning mini (that's him pictured in the car he'll be racing!). Travis doesn't come from a racing family and unfortunately doesn't have any mechanics in the family either so all funds raised will go towards the ongoing maintenance/repairs (inc. tyres & fuel), storage and transportation of the car to race days and trackside assistance on race weekends. As a family we're so proud of Travis and everything that he's achieved but this success is extra special because we know how much it means to him!
We would be so grateful if you could make a donation towards Travis' 1st racing season. Thank you!
