Teens Helping Teens to Normalize Mental Health

Donation protected
As a teen, I know how hard the past 2 years have been trekking through a pandemic filled with loneliness, depression, and mental health challenges. Now slowly transitioning back into a sense of normalcy is even more difficult than expected. From working on my state's teen crisis line, I have learned about the wide range of mental and social issues that teens face daily. Teen mental health is at an all-time low but, at the same time, we are expected to have grown and matured over the past two years. With the demands of school, extracurriculars, sports and social involvement, teens often put their own well-being last.

Teen.Self.Health.com is my website advocating for the normalization of mental health. These days so many people struggle with a variety of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, suicide ideation, eating disorders, etc. It is my goal to be able to provide resources, helpful self-care activities benefiting teens, and leave a place where people can anonymously leave comments, ask questions, etc.

The Blog! is a place where mental professionals share their experience and perspective on different mental topics.

Why fundraise? My next step is the provide Teen.Self.Health kits to high schools across the countries allowing teenagers to start their own mental health and wellness clubs. I have been running one at my high school with incredible success and plan to scale all of the great resources, meeting topics and activities and practices to easily enable others to create safe peer-to-peer spaces within their own schools. Please join me in realizing this vision - teaching all that it is ok not to always be ok. Thank you!
