150 kilometres for teens unite

Hi I'm Joe and I was diagnosed with medulloblastoma type 4 - A high grade malignant brain tumour- when I was twelve I had a 14hr brain surgery leaving me needing to relearn how to walk. I required extensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy to get rid of the cancer but luckily I am cancer free now. Throughout my diagnosis and treatment, teens unite have always been there for me. They put on many free events for young cancer patients (including stadium tours and cooking courses as well as football training sessions).
Teens unite aim to provide those aged 13-24 with the social, emotional, and physical support that is vital to their recovery. They can come together with others their age who understand what they’re going through, and remember who they are as a person, not just a cancer patient. Teens Unite
To achieve this fundraising goal I am going to be running 150 kilometres in the 30 days of June.
