George’s one last request

Donation protected
George was 58 years old. He was battling stage 4 cancer. On Friday November 18th his oldest rushed to his home after the family realized it had been hours since he responded. She found him in the living room in the pitch black. When she turned her flashlight on she seen blood all over his face, and pain in his eyes. She tried to communicate with him and he wasn’t able to functionally communicate, so she called 911. At the hospital they had informed them that he had multiple strokes and seizures. Day by day his seizures were getting worse and accruing more frequently. The second day in the hospital doctors told the family that they should have family and friends say their goodbyes. When George’s 3 grandkids came he reached out for them and gave them a smile. The next day while his daughters were playing songs that had meaning to him they played his wedding song as Jennifer sat next to him he placed his hand on her face and a tear rolled down his cheek. That day he closed his eyes and went to sleep since he was so tired from fighting so hard and having so many seizures. Sunday the doctors approached the family and said that the chances of him waking up were not at all. His family made a huge difficult decision on letting him go peacefully. After a day of resting George opened his eyes and gave his wife and two of his kids one last look in the eyes. Later that night George went peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his family. His wife Jennifer has been his rock! She has been taking him to all of his doctor appointments plus taking her sister to hers. During this difficult time Jennifer’s 3 children have been by her side and will continue to help her. We are asking help for funeral costs and other miscellaneous things that are needed since she will be missing work. Jennifer is a hard worker and hates asking anyone for help, but will help others instantly! She’s always putting others before her needs. We’ve created this to help show her the support she’s always given others. Thank you in advance for everything from help with the services to prayers for the family.
