Teigen Surgery Fund

In October, Teigen had a surgery to remove an obstruction in her stomach. Today, Christmas Eve, Caitlyn and her family spent their entire day at multiple vets to find out why sweet T hasn’t been herself.   Teigen is looking to get her second surgery to fix the way her original surgery healed. Two surgeries in less than three months and Caitlyn is struggling to keep up. She is looking at upwards of a $6000 vet bill for this surgery alone. We love this girl and we love this dog. It’s Christmas, so get into the giving spirit by giving to the most deserving tag team there is. After all, what’s a girl without her dog?

This has truly been the longest year of my life. Teigen not only was a challenge as a puppy, but these last few months have been difficult for her health wise. In October, she had to have emergency surgery to remove a blockage in her stomach. During that surgery they needed to resect a section of her intestines that were beyond repair. At some point during her healing process, her small intestine and colon started fusing together causing a block and cut off circulation. The doctor told me to imagine what would happen if you wrapped your fingers with rubber bands. He said as soon and he snipped the biggest lesion, her entire stomach returned to a normal color.

My mom, sister, and I spent our entire Christmas Eve day at three vets and clinics to try and find out what was wrong with Teigen. After ruling out gas, constipation, pancreatitis, and another blockage, the vets and I agreed that an emergency exploratory surgery was necessary; her only option. Obviously with it being a holiday, they had to call in the staff they’d need for the procedure. Aka $$$$$

If you know me, you know I’m not very good at sharing my feelings and I’m even worse at asking for help. I’m at a loss. This procedure is going to end up costing around $6,000. I’m so thankful I have a family loves me and was able to help me help Teigen. I would not have been able to help her without them. Unfortunately, I’m still trying to repay them for the original surgery two months ago. I know it’s a lot to ask for, but Teigen is my world. She is the light in a lot of people’s life. I would do anything for her, including burying myself in debt to give her the best life. If you’ve met her, you know what a fire cracker she is and you’re probably in love with her. If you’re at all able, please consider helping me repay my family for giving me the chance to save my sweet T. Anything at all will help.
