In the early hours of December 31, 2024 a fire broke out along the boardwalk of the historical hamlet of Telegraph Cove. Despite the best efforts of volunteer firefighters who arrived from nearby communities to help, parts of the iconic boardwalk and many buildings were lost. The impact of the fire is being felt far and wide, as Telegraph Cove was a beloved treasure to so many. The outpouring of support from people across the globe has been simply astonishing. Your words have uplifted our family in this very tragic and difficult time, and we are so thankful.

The purpose of this fundraising effort is to assist in restoring the Cove for the 2025 season. The fire has presented Telegraph Cove Resorts with a challenge of a magnitude that is hard to comprehend. We don't yet know what the road to recovery will look like, but our plan is to immediately begin repairs. We appreciate your support at this time, as we know that many needs of the recovery project will not be covered by insurance. We are working hard to ensure that Telegraph Cove is restored to the very best of our ability so that visitors can continue to enjoy the magic of this special place.

Telegraph Cove Resort is owned by my parents, Marilyn and Gordie Graham. Their tireless efforts over the past 45 years resulted in a destination that has attracted hundreds of thousands of people to this rare and stunning corner of British Columbia. Their vision, and their love for the history of the Cove and their guests, was unwavering. It resulted in countless dream vacations, incredible wildlife sightings, wedding proposals, summer jobs, beautiful meals, great catches, and moments of true joy for the people who spent time in this unique place.
