Tellez family home burns down

Hi everyone! This doesn’t feel real to say, but my childhood home caught fire yesterday morning and the damage has made it uninhabitable. My dad was living there with his family (5 children). Thankfully nobody was hurt in the process of this tragedy. My dad came to the United States without a penny to his name.. He settled in our small town of Rockport in 1984, built a new life and a business to support his family. He has survived the tragic loss of his wife (Jodi Welsch Tellez) in 2013 after a long fight to Breast Cancer, suffered a total loss to his business property due to Harvey and has never given up hope. My dad is a hardworking man, an honest man, a person who would give his own shirt off his back for someone else, and a man that takes care of his family. He would never ask anyone for help, so my siblings/family and I made this GoFundMe page for him to assist during these trying times. We are asking for our community’s help for my dad and his family who has been displaced from their home and lost all their belongings. Any donations &/contributions to assist the family during these trying times are helpful. Accepting clothing, shoes, school supplies, baby necessities, etc. Anything is truly appreciated.

Thank you to all the Fire Department’s for their help. We are eternally grateful for their assistance putting out the fire not once, but twice.
