Temple Katz

Hi all - as most of you know, I am heavily involved in animal rescue. I am currently a fourth-year medical student at Temple University. Throughout my 3+ years there, I have independently picked up multiple cats, provided the vet care, and have gotten them adopted. Unfortunately, the area around the medical school/hospital is underserved by any rescue or TNR rescues. For that reason, a few of my colleagues and I are setting up a new student-run organization called Temple Katz to serve the cat population around this area. We are just starting up and have NO funding as of right now (we are currently in the process of becoming a 501c3 organization), but in the meantime, the cats need us. 

We are planning a large trapping event, hopefully beginning this week, and then I will plan to transport the cats to a low-cost spay/neuter clinic. Even though there are low-cost clinics available, the cost of an individual cat to get surgery, vaccinations, and other medical needs are anywhere between $40-65. 

I am pleading for your help - I can't do this alone. Any donation is very much appreciated.
