I’m a U.S. Air Force veteran, author, screenwriter, producer, and founder and CEO of Levels & Volumes Entertainment LLC. For years, I’ve been developing TEMPTATIONS™, a family drama that explores loyalty, betrayal, abandonment, forgiveness, redemption, and the consequences of our choices. What began as a story has grown into an interconnected creative universe featuring published novels, audiobooks, screenplays, and digital storytelling. But TEMPTATIONS™ is only the beginning of what I envision building. From a Story to an Award-Winning Creative Project Since launching this fundraiser in August 2026, TEMPTATIONS™ has continued gaining recognition. In 2026, TEMPTATIONS™ earned a w3 Silver Award in the Social Content Series – Student category. The project has also received recognition through: * Atlanta Women’s Film Festival — Official Selection * Women’s Film Festival — Official Selection * Miami Women Film Festival — Official Nominee * Big Apple Film Festival Screenplay Competition — Quarterfinalist These achievements represent meaningful progress for an independent creative project. With guidance from my mentor, Dr. Troy Byer, I’ve continued developing TEMPTATIONS™ with the goal of bringing its characters and interconnected stories to film and television. However, recognition alone does not pay for production. That’s where this campaign comes in. The First Goal: Bring TEMPTATIONS™ to the Screen I’m raising funds to produce the TEMPTATIONS™ Proof of Concept, a cinematic short film introducing the Williams family and demonstrating the visual style, emotional depth, and storytelling potential of the larger project. The proof of concept will help me present TEMPTATIONS™ to audiences, filmmakers, producers, potential investors, and future creative partners. Donations will help cover production expenses, including: * Actors, casting, directors, and production crew * Cameras, lighting, sound, and equipment * Locations, wardrobe, and production design * Editing, music, sound mixing, and post-production * Insurance, marketing, and festival submissions My current overall fundraising goal is $15,000 to help support this first production phase. This is not a request to finance an entire entertainment company. It is an opportunity to help establish the foundation for what that company could eventually become. The Bigger Vision: Creating Jobs Across the Arts I want Levels & Volumes Entertainment LLC to become more than a company that produces my own stories. I want to build an entertainment company that creates jobs, develops talent, and gives other creative people opportunities to turn their skills into careers. My family’s history in music and production has helped shape that vision. I’ve seen how creativity can extend across generations and how many different people contribute to bringing a project to life. I envision a company where writers have opportunities to develop and publish their stories, musicians and composers can create original soundtracks, recording engineers can produce music and audiobooks, and actors can bring characters to life. I want to create opportunities for filmmakers, directors, producers, cinematographers, editors, sound technicians, animators, illustrators, costume designers, makeup artists, production assistants, and other creative professionals. My vision is already extending beyond my own stories. Through Levels & Volumes Entertainment LLC, I've helped bring Rashad's Three Wishes, a children's book by Kadima Alita, into publication. This project reflects my commitment to supporting other authors and developing opportunities in children's storytelling, publishing, audiobooks, and eventually animation. I want Levels & Volumes to become a creative home where talented storytellers can bring their ideas to life. I also envision publishing opportunities for aspiring authors, animated storytelling for children and families, music and audio production, and eventually studio spaces where different creative disciplines can work together. I want to help create jobs both in front of the camera and behind the scenes—and beyond the film set. That includes opportunities for students, interns, emerging artists, and people who have the talent and determination but may not yet have access to the industry. My long-term goal is to build a company that can develop original intellectual property, support paid creative work, and provide mentorship and hands-on experience as it grows. TEMPTATIONS™ is the first major screen-production step toward that vision. Why Your Support Matters I’ve invested years into writing, developing, publishing, and building these stories while working toward the resources and professional relationships needed to bring them to the screen. I believe stories can entertain, connect generations, inspire conversations, and create opportunities for the people who help tell them. Every production needs a team.
