What is INCubatoredu?
INCubatoredu is a leading provider of entrepreneurship high school programs, and in its inaugural year in District 303, nearly 700 middle school and high school students participated. This experiential learning curriculum tasks students with identifying a problem that they witness every day and developing a product or service that solves the identified problem within a business they have created. INCubator has strong support with over 80 St. Charles business leaders serving as volunteers.
Designed by a team of successful entrepreneurs and educators, the INCubatoredu entrepreneurship curriculum can be implemented in any high school as an elective course. Throughout the semester, students will learn:
• Practical critical and creative thinking
• Collaboration
• Leadership and confidence
• Resiliency and adaptability
• Problem-solving
Whether students wish to pursue entrepreneurship or not, the skills developed in the INCubatoredu course will help unlock every student’s potential and prepare them for an ever-evolving world.

INCubatoredu offers students an authentic entrepreneurship experience as they work in teams to brainstorm, design, and develop their own products or service. Community entrepreneurs and business experts serve as volunteer coaches and mentors guiding student teams through the process of developing their business concepts and product ideas. The culmination of this course is similar to the ABC television show, “Shark Tank.” Student teams have the opportunity to earn funding for further development and production of their product or service and launch their business. The teams who earn funding are expected to make a commitment to continue onto ACCELeratoredu, the second year of the program. Proceeds donated to the St. Charles INCubator Fund will support the program and students.
