(TEN) TOXIC EPIDERMAL NECROLYSIS DISORDER

I am attempting to support my dearest child with her RARE medical disorder that she is suffering from due to being prescribed a medication (Lamictal / Lamotrigene) that caused a MAJOR ALLERGIC reaction known as the RARE (SJS) Stevens Johnson Syndrome / over 30% of the body affected known as (TEN) Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis. Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS) and Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis (TEN) are degenerative skin disorders that ravage the epithelial tissues of the body. They usually occur as a reaction to a “trigger,” with the most common triggers being certain medications, such as Lamictal / Lamotrigene / Sulfur / Allopurinol/Zyloprim/Aloprim / Dilantin/Phenytoin.

Unfortunately, not many facilities are equipped to treat these patients due to the rarity of this disorder and the possible complications that can present from it, such as infection, organ failure, vision loss, hair loss, mouth and throat lesions, puss filled blisters welting all over her body from the crown of her scalp to the bottom of her feet, not allowing her to walk, from her entire belly and chest to her entire back, and entire face and neck has been traumatically affected. Toxic epidermal necrolysis causes the skin to peel in sheets. This leaves large, raw areas exposed. The loss of skin allows fluids and salts to ooze from the raw, damaged areas. These areas can easily become infected.

She is a 24 year young lady full of life who is now suffering. She will not be able to live a normal life for quite sometime as the condition can take many longs months before all the skin falls off allowing her body to heal. This is a very excruciating, painful medical condition. She is unable to rest at all, as you can imagine it is difficult for her to lay on her skin. She is hospitalized in a local inexperienced facility. As I faught, threatening social media, i called the NJ12 News, she is finally being moved to ICU and sent to a Burn Unit Wound Care Hospital facility who is experienced and skilled of providing proper treatment. Crying to say, her condition is worsening until she can get their Burn Unit Center care.

She will need all the Prayer Warriors to soar and make a call out to our Almighty for expedited blessings and recovery.

Please help support this independent, smart, young lady to a road of no financial worries. When she is allowed to make it back home, she will not be able to work for quite some time. I do not want her to worry on how she will financially support herself. Yes, my support and assistance will be provided, but, we are asking anyone of you, to please make any donations you can in support of her. We would also like to donate some of the collection to the Burn Victim Unit in support of others suffering from this VERY RARE, unfamiliar skin disorder.
