Tenacious Hearts Cancer Care Pouch Project
I am so excited to share that we are once again collecting sponsorships for our Tenacious Hearts Project – our annual campaign to provide care pouches to patients undergoing cancer treatment!
ABOUT THE TENACIOUS HEARTS PROJECT
The Tenacious Hearts Project is inspired by and created alongside our friend and breast cancer dominator, Becky Schreiner. Becky has curated a special care pouch full of safer products that helped her during her own cancer battle. These care pouches will be gifted to patients undergoing treatment at the St. Peter’s Cancer Center or to someone undergoing chemotherapy or radiation nominated by you.
This year, we are incredibly excited to partner with Send More Joy , a luxe greeting card subscription service, to provide beautiful handcrafted cards of encouragement for our pouch recipients. Our hope is that, together, and with your help, we can help to brighten the tough days that treatment often brings.
WHAT DOES THE CARE POUCH INCLUDE?
Each pouch will contain one lip gloss, one hand cream, one body butter each at our cost and a selection of herbal teas, plus a special card of encouragement curated by Send More Joy all in one eco-friendly Beautycounter canvas bag. For male recipients, we will include Counterman travel products. Any remaining funds will go to providing extra pouches and shipping costs for requested recipients.
HOW CAN I SPONSOR?
Please consider sponsoring a a full pouch for $40 (our cost) or half sponsorship of $20 or any donation amount through this Go Fund Me page.
If you are interested in sponsoring a care pouch in honor or in memory of someone, please indicate so with your donation.
OUR GOAL: TO GIFT 100 POUCHES IN DECEMBER
This year, our team of consultants and local business owners are joining forces for this project with a collective goal to raise enough sponsorships to fulfill 100 pouches for cancer fighters by November 18. Our plan is to assemble and deliver (or mail as requested) the care pouches to the Cancer Center around the holidays in December, which can be particularly difficult time to be undergoing treatment.
Thank you for your support of this project! It has become one of our favorite annual traditions and collaborations with you, our friends and clients, to help get safer goods into the hands of others.
