In 2013, on a break from teaching tennis in NYC and a visit to my family in Montego Bay, Jamaica I decided to invited some kids from my neighborhood in Glendevon to SeaGarden Resort tennis courts to introduce them to the game of tennis and to give them a chance to experience life outside our community even if it was only 2 hours on Saturdays.

My initial GOAL was to introduce tennis to some of the impoverished and UnderServed communities in Montego Bay, Jamaica, especially Glendevon where I grew up. I wanted to create a safe place for these kids to learn the game of tennis, get some physical activities and hopefully use tennis as a means to a better education and a career.

In addition to FREE tennis clinics for these UnderServed kids, we have sponsored several talented young players to the US for training and tournaments and glad to say we have won several tournaments and taken home many trophies. Several of our talent young players had also represented Jamaica in tournaments in Dominican Republic, Mexico, Curacao and the US as part of the National Team. We have also provided coaching, equipment and tournament expenses both in Jamaica and the USA.

Our ULTIMATE GOAL for these youngsters is to use tennis to gain scholarships abroad or locally if available. Our program will promote Tennis - Education -Academics & Mentoring. We are using tennis as a means to get an education. We have played several tournaments both in Jamaica and overseas:
Team and their trophies after winning all the divisions in the Pembroke Pines Junior Tournament :Nick Malcolm Boy's 18 Finalist; Iesha Sterling Champion of the Girls 14; Delano Reeves Boy's 12 winner; Abigail Perue Girls 12 winner; Tariq Simons Boy's 14 Champion.

Thanks to Simone Russell and friends from Pembroke Pines Florida who collected 250 pairs of sneakers and donated them to our kids.

ATP tour player and former Jamaica's #1 player who has lived most of his teenage years in Montego Bay Dustin Brown came by to hit with the youngsters and he brought lots of tennis stuff for the kids as he has done for the past 5 years , thanks Dreddy.

Our next GOAL is to get several of these deserving and talented youngsters into College with scholarships. Continued thanks for everyone who support us and continue to support us.
