Teo Kukic Intracranial Brain Bleed Recovery

On February 11th, Teo suffered a massive brain bleed affecting 3 major blood vessels as a result of an arteriovenous fistula rupturing. Just two hours before, he was enjoying time with his loved ones with no knowledge or signs of what was about to happen. Teo underwent two intensive procedures to stop and contain the bleed. His first surgery was an endovascular repair to stop the bleeding. The second surgery was to open his skull to try and decrease the swelling in his brain. He is currently in the ICU, intubated and in a coma with a 60-70% chance of waking up.

Teo is a 40 year old Bosnian American married to Amela, with 4 beautiful children. He is so loved by a community of family and friends. Following the news, every one of his friends that he has known for 20+ years were at, and continue to be at his bedside. We are holding on to the hope that he will wake up.

Given the uncertainty of when and if he will wake up, this GoFundMe has been established to financially support his wife and four children in the meantime, as well as cover medical expenses that will begin to pile up as we wait and pray for him to wake up.
