Teofila Panopio Legacy Fund

Teofila Panopio joined her creator at the age of 74. She is loved and left behind a husband, five children, four daughters-in-law, seven siblings, seven grandchildren, nephews, nieces, a ton of friends and relatives. She was a source of strength in the family despite of her battle against diabetes, heart diseases, and chronic kidney disease. She was a fighter, selfless and a beautiful person. She passed away on the same day as her favorite TV show host of Jeopardy, Alex Trebek. She must be on a different level now in playing along the tournament of champions.
This campaign will add in the funeral and memorial fund in her memory. We also want to raise funds on behalf of her in advocating for the care of the sick elderly. We want to distribute weighing scales and pulse oximeter in our community to patients with congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, and end-stage renal disease on hemodialysis. These equipment pieces are useful in following up on their health status at home in avoiding emergency visits and hospitalizations or in seeking the help of health care providers. Educating our elderly and their caregivers in using weighing scales and pulse oximeter would give us more memorable moments to spend with our loved ones.
