Teralta Park Community Mural
Tax deductible
Teralta Park has a community mural being installed on the sound wall over the 15 freeway at the Teralta Neighborhood Park in City Heights, San Diego. "Unity in the Community" is the title to celebrate diversity and positive living. It is only visible from Teralta Park. It is 270 ft wide and 7-8 feet tall, so it is quite an undertaking for a mural. The City Heights Town Council organizes and oversees the mural as the community leader. We knew we would need to fundraise to finish the mural, so here we are. Our goal is $25,000. 100% of the funds go to supplies and the artists. Muralist Christopher (Sake) Kinney started the mural and put countless hours into the concept, beautiful colors, and amazing facial details. Unfortunately, he could not finish the mural, so we have two muralists adding their artistic touch and mastery to finish it; Karl (@gmonikart) and Melody (@chicanalilly). Karl and Melody have both taken the baton, moving this mural forward. All three muralists have dedicated and put hard work into this mural, so we would like to reward them for their efforts. The City Heights Town Council is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with all volunteers. (No funds go to administration costs, no hidden costs).
