Hi, my names Jodi Altman and I’m reaching out for any help I can possibly get!
Unfortunately on July 23rd, 2023 at 3:23pm My mother Teresa lost her battle with cancer. Although weve been fighting right along side her, it’s still shaken us too our core.
Teresa played the saxophone in her high schools band, after high school she went on to become an STNA and a mother of Seven! She later decided on being a stay at home mom so she could make sure her oldest daughter, who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy as a baby, was properly taken care of! She devoted her life too us children, and I couldn’t be more thankful God blessed me with her as a mother!
In November of 2021, she was diagnosed with liver cancer following up from a colonoscopy. From there it just got worst, it spread everywhere even with radiation and chemo every other week for 2 years. She had a life insurance policy but once she got sick she had to drop it in order to be able to pay for more important issues at the time. During all of this it’s been extremely difficult for my family and I, emotionally and financially. Between treatments, gas to get back and forth from appointments, bills, days called off of work to help take care of my mother and sister, to taking care of my own two children and now taking on the responsibility of my older sister, my resources are running extremely low and we were struggling as is, so it truly takes a lot for me to reach out like this but I’m desperate and do need all the help I can get! So I’m asking everyone to please help me! If you can’t donate then PLEASE share this so that we can get the word out!
My mommy was my Bestfriend, she inspired me to become a mother and a better person all together. She was one of the most loving, kind, caring, inspirational woman I’ve ever had the privilege of coming into contact with and I don’t just say that because she’s my mother. I’ve never met anyone who has had one negative thing to say about her. Teresa loved everyone and I truly believed everyone loved her the same!
If you’ve read this far, I just want to say thank you for taking the time out of your day to listen and read just a little bit about my mothers life! God bless!
To finish this up is a message my father, Teresa’s loving and devoted husband, wanted me to share with everyone.
John Altman;
In the blink of an eye my life, changed forever. :(

I held my wife as she took her last breathe.
Im so lost without her I don’t know what to do.
She was my everything, “My Soul Mate”.
Towards the end I didn’t know, but she wasn’t paying the bills. She always handled those so I don’t know how. Now things are getting worst.
The funeral is around $4,000 with no life insurance amongst the other bills.
Anyone who knows me, knows Im the giver not the taker.
I feel bad even asking for any help, but I really need it.
If any of my friends or Facebook friends could cash app me some money or donate too this gofundme,or the funeral home itself, even strangers with a big heart would be greatly appreciated!
So please try to help, if you can’t, please share because maybe someone else can!
God bless you all,
John Altman.
