Teresa - The Churro Lady of Tequila Needs Our Help

On the morning of May 5 our dear friend Teresa (aka the churro lady from tequila) was involved in an severe bus accident on her way to visit her son in Guadalajara.
We don't know the full details, but the driver was speeding, crashed into the median, and flipped the bus. Teresa suffered a head injury that required several stitches and she also hurt her neck, shoulder, back and arm and has debris from glass and the road that is stuck in her body that needs to be removed.
Teresa has been unable to work since the accident and is struggling. We hope that our community of friends that has had the chance to meet her will come together to send whatever assistance to help her get better. She will need surgeries and continued physical therapy until she can get back to work.
The driver is under arrest, but there is no recourse forTeresa or any of the passengers . While medical can be "free" in Mexico, it does not cover the care and treatment that Teresa needs. She is a joy for anyone who has met her and we'd like to return some of the love that she has shared with us. Please, whatever you can give will make a huge difference in her recovery and possibly her life.
