Teresas Fight with Cholangeocarcinoma

Our dear friend, Teresa,(Cosko),Baumgardner, was diagnosed with Stage 4 liver cancer, cholangiocarcinoma. She and her husband Jon have always worked their entire lives and live in a modest home. They have never asked for assistance. They have medical insurance, but it is not nearly sufficient and the medical bills are reaching 6 digits. Teresa started at UH and now has a wonderful oncology team at the Cleveland Clinic Liver Cancer Center. Chemotherapy, V-90 surgeries and other treatments are routinely a part of her ongoing fight. In addition, Teresa cares for her mentally handicapped brother, Georgie.

Teresa cried when we suggested a Go Fund Me page to help with the mounting costs, saying, "I have always worked and don't want to beg!" We all cried! We are fortunate to have Teresa as a friend.
