Medical Fund for Teri Winter

Teri Winter is a biology professor, loving mother of two, selfproclaimed "crazy chicken lady" and fisherwoman extraordinaire. Four years ago, she was put on the heart transplant waiting list because of a genetic heart disease resulting in heart failure. Today, she is still waiting for a heart. However with the progression of her disease, she must now remain as a patient at the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre in Toronto, away from her family, her friends, and her farm, until they are able to find a heart for her.
