Terps basketball fans helping alums play in TBT

Maryland fans are raising money to help Shell Shock, a team of former Terps players, compete in The Basketball Tournament for $1 million.

“If we are going to do this, we are going to do it right. We need Terp fans help to pay for travel and lodging for our training camp, where we will get to have our vets around the current Maryland team, as well giving them some motivation and inspiration. We also have to pay for travel, lodging and food during this win-or-go-home tourney," GM Andrew Terrell said. "We need help purchasing meals ranging from $350-500 each, our AirBnb, which is $5,600 our rental cars that are $1500 and flights that are $3,000. If everyone chips in a little bit this month we will do our part to make Maryland fans proud."
