We’re so excited to share a brand-new teaser for our documentary It Takes A Village, a project that is very dear to our hearts thanks to the incredible discussions my producing partner, Lewis T. Powell, and I had with educators and mentors in my hometown of Georgetown, South Carolina. Their insights and dedication to shaping young minds have reinforced the power of community-driven mentorship, and we’re eager to bring this message to a wider audience. This documentary is more than a story—it’s a movement toward real change, showcasing how local support systems can transform lives.

As we push forward in post-production, we need your help to complete this film and amplify its mission. The second goal I hope to achieve is a more long term goal of hoping once our kids are exposed to new ways of living, thinking and learning, the more they will be able to carry that new mindset throughout the school year, ultimately improving grades overall and helping our teachers in the classroom.

It’s imperative for me to do everything within my power to ensure that the next generation is better than the last. The earlier we expose our youth to every possible opportunity in the world, the earlier they can figure out what they

ultimately want to pursue in their lives with more intentions. These programs are a prime example of doing just that and I couldn’t be more honored to give them the spotlight that their tireless work is so deserving of.
